Klutch Concepts is a small strategic and commercial advisory business in Alberta, Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information this website collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you send a message
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your phone number, company and the topic you’d like to discuss. We receive exactly what you type.
When you book a meeting
The booking form asks for your name and email address, the meeting type and time you choose, your time zone, and any notes you choose to add.
When you browse (only if you agree)
If you click Accept on our cookie notice, we use PostHog analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a link), device and browser type, and approximate location (country, region and city, worked out from your IP address). If you click Decline, or make no choice, no analytics are loaded.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk about a possible engagement.
- To schedule, confirm, change or cancel meetings you book, including sending calendar invitations.
- With your consent, to see which pages are useful and improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They handle information on our behalf:
- HeadCrowd Studio builds and hosts this website and provides the contact form and booking system, which store your enquiry and booking details.
- Resend (United States) sends emails such as booking confirmations and notices about your enquiry.
- PostHog (United States) provides website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Information stored outside Canada
Some of these providers store or process information in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and booking records only as long as we need them for the purposes above and for our business records, and then delete them. Your cookie choice is remembered for 13 months, after which we ask again.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
- Withdraw consent. You can change your cookie choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also ask us to stop using your information or to delete it, subject to any legal requirement to keep it.
- Questions or concerns. Write to us first and we will do our best to help. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies and similar storage
Before you choose, the site stores nothing for analytics. The table below lists what may be stored in your browser.
| Name | Purpose | When it’s set | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
kc_consent (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. | When you click Accept or Decline | 13 months |
ph_…_posthog (cookie and local storage) | PostHog analytics: recognises a returning browser and groups page views into visits. | Only after you click Accept | Removed when you decline or withdraw consent |
sb-… (cookies) | Keeps the site owner signed in to his private dashboard. Strictly necessary for that sign-in. | Only when signing in | Until sign-out or the session ends |
